Contractors arrested for stealing credit card

BETHLEHEM, N.Y.—Two contractors were arrested after stealing a credit card from a Delmar resident while they were working at his residence.

After the resident reported his credit card was missing, Bethlehem detectives determined that two contractors, Richard Berg, 36, of Corinth and Trevor Barber, 32, of Brasher Falls stole the card and made purchases at local stores.

Berg and Barber were arrested on May 6 and charged with felony counts of Identity Theft in the first degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree.

Both were arraigned in Bethlehem town court.
