State Police arrest man on drug charges after traffic stop

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – A traffic stop has led to the arrest of an 18-year-old on drug charges.

According to State Police, a Trooper conducted a traffic stop of a speeding vehicle. 

The driver, Benjamin Sorrentino, 18, was arrested after he was found in possession of drugs, say police.

State Police have charged Sorrentino with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance not in Original Container and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. 

Sorrentino was issued tickets to appear at the town of Queensbury Court at a later date.
