CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. – Food will be collected by postal carriers on Saturday as part of the annual Letter Carrier Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
Saturday marks the 22nd anniversary of the food drive, which is the largest across the nation. U.S. Postal Workers will collect food from communities which will help feed the hungry.
Last year, 74 million pounds of food was collected, which fed about 30 million people.
The food collected on Saturday will benefit local communities throughout the country.
This food drive is made possible through the U.S. Postal Service, Campbell Soup, and Feeding America.
