DELMAR, N.Y. — The shipping of crude oil through the Port of Albany continues to be a topic of concern in neighborhoods near the port.
On Friday there will be a public forum on the issue at the Bethlehem Public Library in Delmar.
A panel of experts will discuss the type of oil being transported, and the dangers associated with it — including disasters like the one in Quebec last summer, and Lynchburg, Virginia, just last month.
The public will also have a chance to ask questions. The forum begins at 7 p.m.
