ALBANY, N.Y. – A UAlbany lacrosse player has been named a finalist for the Teewarton Award.
The Teewarton Award crowns the top lacrosse player in the country, and Lyle Thompson from the University of Albany is one of the five selected.
Thompson is the top points scorer in the nation, and he recently matched the single season record with 114. His brother Miles joins him on the list. Miles is the top scorer in Division I with 74.
UAlbany is preparing for their NCAA Tournament opening found game at Loyola May 10 at noon.
