LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. – A woman has been arrested for allegedly driving with a BAC that was three times the legal limit.
According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday evening, officers investigated a motor vehicle accident on Route 9.
Authorities say that Christina Burch, 33, was driving the car when it veered off the roadway and hit an embankment. While in the embankment, the vehicle overturned and came to rest on all four tires.
Burch was not injured.
However, an investigation revealed that Burch had been drinking alcohol prior to the accident, say authorities. Her BAC was allegedly .24-percent, which is three times the legal limit.
She has been charged with aggravated DWI.
