TROY, N.Y. – Troy Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred on River Street Thursday afternoon.
Police responded to a call for an altercation around 12:20 p.m. on River Street near Bond Street. No one was at the scene when police arrived, but a pool of blood was still at the location.
The victim walked into St. Mary’s Hospital and was later transported to Albany Medical Center for further treatment. His injuries are considered serious but not life threatening.
Police have interviewed witnesses, but the victim is not cooperating with police.
