Man accused of breaking and entering NYS Museum

ALBANY, N.Y. – State Police say they have arrested a man for breaking into the New York State Museum.

According to authorities, Thomas Grant, 24, was observed by NYS Museum security officers forcing his way through a rear door early Saturday morning.

State Police at the Capital say the Ballston Lake man then left the museum but was apprehended by Troopers on Madison Avenue a short time later.

Grant has been charged with Criminal Trespass in the third degree, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned in City of Albany Criminal Court.
