Glens Falls man accused of killing dog indicted on animal cruelty charges

GLENS FALLS, N.Y.—The man accused of killing his girlfriend's
dog and leaving it in the Hudson river was indicted on animal cruelty charges.

Matthew Wisell, 28, pleaded not guilty in Warren County
court and is still in custody.

Police arrest Wisell in the beginning of April. According to
authorities, Wisell said he killed the animal because it was having behavioral
problems.

Wisell will be arraigned on April 23, his girlfriend will
not face any charges.
