RAVENA, N.Y. – Coeymans Police arrested a Coxsackie man in Ravena Thursday after he tried to meet with someone he thought was an underage girl.
Ethan Call had been communicating with a police investigator posing as a 14-year-old girl and arranged to meet him for sex. The 23-year-old was arrested and charged with Attempted Rape in the Second Degree, Attempted Criminal Sex Act in the Second Degree and a Violation of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Call was also arrested on an active warrant for a previous domestic incident involving his live-in girlfriend. He was also charged with Misdemeanor Assault in the Third Degree and Aggravated Family Offence as a result of the warrant.
Call was arraigned in the Village of Ravena Justice Court and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
