SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – State Police have arrested a man for allegedly driving impaired by drugs.
According to authorities, Robert Ruiz, 35, of Schenectady, was arrested earlier this month for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Criminal Possession of a Control Substance 7th.
Troopers say they pulled Ruiz over for not having a front plate on his vehicle. During the traffic stop it was determined by police that Ruiz was driving impaired. He was arrested on the scene for the misdemeanor charges.
Ruiz was arraigned in the City of Schenectady Court and was remanded to the Schenectady County Jail on $1500.00 bail.
