GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Hyde Collection is expected to draw photography buffs in Glens Falls.

Good Morning America anchor George Stephanopoulos has donated nearly 130 photographs to the collection.

Officials with the Hyde Collection said the 128 photos are by 14 photographers from the late 1800s through the late 1900s. Stephanopoulos was aware of two photography exhibits currently displayed at the museum and offered to donate part of his collection.

The museum, better known for its Rembrandt and Picasso artwork, had been considering building its collection of photography before the offer was made. Stephanopoulos calls the museum “the perfect home” for his photographs.
