Day of remembrance for lives lost in mass shooting

BINGHAMTON, N.Y.—Thursday is a day of remembrance for the
lives that were lost in the 2008 mass shooting.

The shooting took place in 2009 in Binghamton New York and
Thursday marks the five year anniversary.

Gunman Jiverly Wong killed 13 people and injured four other
at an immigrant community center before killing himself.

This shooting was among the deadliest in United States
history.

Wong was a naturalized US citizen from Vietnam. Binghamton's
mayor called it “the most tragic day in Binghamton's history.”
