ALBANY, N.Y.—A Watervliet man was sentenced to 12 years in
State Prison on Friday.
Milton Wood, 51, pleaded guilty to one count of Criminal
Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a felony, on January 22.
On April 17, 2013, Wood was observed on police surveillance
selling a quantity of crack cocaine for $100. New York State Police then
executed a search warrant at his residence.
While inside Wood's residence, officers recovered quantities
of marijuana, heroin, a digital scale, and three boxes of sandwich bags used to
package quantities of narcotics for distribution.
As part of the plea, Wood forfeited a 2003 Mercedes Benz
that was used during the drug transaction.
