Brooklyn man arrested for possession of controlled substances

SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y.—A Brooklyn man was arrested for
criminal possession and sale of substances on Thursday.

Pedro Miranda, 38, was charged with Criminal Possession of a
Controlled Substance in the third and seventh degree, Criminal Sale of a
Controlled Substance in the third degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a
child.

The charges arose from an investigation beginning in August
of 2013 after a tip was received regarding drug trafficking at a residence in
Luther Forest in Malta.

Investigation led to Miranda's residence where he was
actively selling cocaine.

Pedro was arraigned in Saratoga County Court and was sent to
Saratoga County Jail pending his next court date.
