ALBANY, N.Y.—An Albany man was sentenced to State Prison on Friday.
Carlos Santiago, 33, was sentenced to two and a half years in State Prison, followed by three years of Post Release Supervision.
On February 28, 2014, Santiago pleaded guilty to one count of Assault in the second degree, a felony, and one count of Failure to Register or Verify, a felony.
Santiago used a piece of glass to cause an injury to a victims hand on December 5, 2013. After investigation, police discovered that Santiago, a Level 1 Sex Offender, had failed to notify New York State Department of Criminal Justice that he moved to a different address.
