Troy Police investigating bank robbery

TROY, N.Y. – The Troy Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said a white male suspect entered the Citizens Bank on Fifth Avenue around 2:26 p.m.. and passed a note to a bank teller demanding cash. A weapon was not displayed, but police said the teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect fled heading north on Fifth Avenue. Police are questioning a man in connection with the robbery. No arrests have been made.
