Albany police investigating two robberies

ALBANY, N.Y. — Albany police are investigating two
separate robberies that occurred on Thursday.

Officers responded to New No. 1 Restaurant, located at
466 Delaware Ave. at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday for a report of a robbery. When
they arrived, the victim stated that an unknown female approached the counter
and passed a note that implied she had a weapon and demanded money. The victim
complied, and the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black female in her 30's.
She is approximately 5'6″ tall.

Later at noon, officers responded to Key Bank, located at
2 Colvin Ave., for a report of a robbery. When they arrived, the teller stated
that an unknown male approached the counter and demanded money. The teller
complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was
displayed or implied.

That suspect is described as a black male wearing dark
colored clothing.

No injuries were reported during the incidents.
