Gloversville man arrested for attempted arson

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y.—A Gloversville man was arrested for
attempted arson on Thursday.

Adam Roice, 27, was charged with Attempted Arson in the
second degree, Reckless Endangerment in the first degree, and two counts of
Petit Larceny.

On March 18, the Gloversville Police received a report of a
male banging on an apartment door of a two family residence. Roice was
allegedly causing a disturbance and arguing with residents through an open
window.

Roice then allegedly took a red plastic gas can, poured it
on the porch steps, lit the gas, and started a small fire on the front porch.

He was sent to the Fulton County Correctional Facility on
$25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
