ONEIDA, N.Y. – An Onondaga County man was sentenced after pleading guilty to having sexual contact with a 16-year-old boy while working as a teacher.
Christopher Yanulavich will serve ten years of probation for the crime. He was a substitute teacher in the Oneida School District when the incident occurred in April 2013. He pleaded guilty in January.
Yanulavich was fired shortly after his arrest, and police said he surrendered his teacher license.
Officials said Yaunulavich will be listed on the New York sex offender registry.
