ALBANY, N.Y.—A Green Island man was sentenced to one to
three years in State Prison on Thursday.

Michael Cartenuto, 50, was sentenced after he violated a No
Contact Order of Protection on three different dates: January 3, 2013, February
9, 2013, and February 24, 2013.

Cartenuto pleaded guilty to one Count of Criminal Contempt
in the first degree, a felony, on November 19, 2013. He was expected to receive
five years of Felony Probation.

Prior to the sentencing date, Cartenuto was re-arrested
twice for violating the Order of Protection and because of this, the court
vacated the original plea agreement and sentenced him to one to three years in
State Prison.
