Albany man found guilty in robbery and strangulation case

ALBANY, N.Y. An Albany man has been arrested he
stole from a woman he strangled.

Isaiah Pleasant, 21,
of Albany, was found guilty of one felony count of Robbery, and one felony
Count of Strangulation in Albany County Supreme Court on Friday.

On June 27, 2013 in
the area of Washington Park in the City of Albany, authorities say the
defendant forcibly stole property by strangling a victim, causing her to lose
consciousness. 

He faces up to 25
years in State Prison when sentenced on April 18, 2014, and remains in custody
at the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail to await sentencing.
