SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Schenectady City School District Superintendent Larry Spring is asking for help in the face of another budget deficit.

He says the district is forced to make more cuts to school services and programs to close the gap on a $10 million deficit, and he's asking for public input on what cuts to make.

The district plans to hold two budget development workshops to review the available options, and that's when the public can weigh in.

The first is on March 3 at the Howe Early Childhood Education Center at 6 p.m. The second also starts at 6 p.m. on Tuesday March 4 at the Paige School.
