ALBANY, N.Y. — An Albany man accused of public lewdness at the New York State Museum appeared in court Friday.

Steven Dressel, , 56, of Albany was arrested and charged with Public Lewdness at the New York State Museum after museum patrons complained that he was acting inappropriately near the Fulton Fish Market Exhibit.

The judge had to stop the arraignment several times due
to interruptions by Dressel — including when he asked the judge to give him
year in jail.

Mark Schaming, the Director of the Museum says a fast
arrest was made thanks to quick acting adults and security guards. He says three
adults witnessed Steven Dressel acting suspiciously, and they quickly alerted
security guards.
