ALBANY, N.Y.—Four people were arrested for events that occurred at the Albany County Correctional Facility.
The first case began when a controlled substance was mailed to the Correctional Facility.
Investigators determined that an inmate's sister had been mailing him illegal drugs through greeting cards which was discovered by Correctional Facility staff.
Ryan C. Licurse, 32, of Lagrangeville, was arrested on February 26 for Attempted Promoting Prison Contraband in the First Degree, a felony, and Attempted Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a misdemeanor.
Jennifer L. Licurse, 27, of Millbrook, was arrested on February 27 for Attempted Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth degree, Promoting Prison Contraband in the First Degree, and Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree, all felonies.
Both Ryan and Jennifer were remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility.
Unrelated to the case above, two were arrested for contraband within the Correctional Facility.
Kyson White, 28, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation, and Promoting Prison Contraband in the second degree, a misdemeanor. Robert Williams, 41, was arrested for Promoting Prison Contraband in the first degree and Criminal Possession of a weapon in the third degree, both felonies.
Both White and Williams were arraigned in the town of Colonie Court and sent to the Correctional Facility.
