UAlbany hosts JDRF Albany Walk to Cure Diabetes kickoff celebration

ALBANY, N.Y.—More than 3,000 walkers are expected to participate
in the Albany JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes at UAlbany.

Daniel T. Pickett III is serving as the Walk's Corporate
Recruitment Chair and has set a goal to raise $50,000.

“We are inspired by all those living with T1D, and we're
proud to be among this community of steadfast supporters as JDRF's partner for
this event. Together, we are helping to advance needed research that will make
a difference in the lives of millions of people affected by this disease,” said
Dan Pickett.

The walk is scheduled to take place on May 4. On-site
registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 11 a.m.
