GLENS FALLS, N.Y. –  Two people have been arrested and charged with
multiple offenses, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say Angelica Berry, 32, and Eric Berry, 29, face
welfare fraud charges after an investigation into a report from the Warren
County Department of Social Services. The report alleges that the pair failed
to accurately report their total household income while receiving public
assistance benefits during the same time period.

Angelica Berry has been charged with Welfare Fraud in the 3rd,
Grand Larceny in the 3rd, Health Care Fraud in the 5th,
and Offering a False Instrument in the 1st.

Eric Berry has been charged with Health Care Fraud in the 5th,
and Offering a False Instrument in the 1st.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office said the couple failed to
report that Angelica Berry was working as a home health aide when they filed
recertification applications to continue receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance
Program Benefits (SNAP) as well as Medical Assistance benefits. Due to failure
to accurately report, authorities say the couple obtained more than $5,330 in
SNAP benefits and $1,703 in Medical Assistance benefits.

The pair was arraigned and released. They will be back in
court in March.
