Siena Poll: Eleanor Roosevelt is our favorite First Lady

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The latest Siena College Research
Institute poll shows Eleanor Roosevelt is still America's best First Lady.

According to the poll, conducted by Siena and C-SPAN,
Roosevelt remains the number one choice on American First Ladies for the fifth
time in 32 years.

Abigail Adams is in second
place, Jacqueline Kennedy remained third, Dolley Madison moved to the fourth,
and Michelle Obama has taken the fifth place spot. The entry of Obama into the
survey moved Hillary Clinton down two places to sixth. According to the poll, Lady
Bird Johnson, Betty Ford, Martha Washington and Rosalynn Carter also finished
in the top ten.
