GREENPORT, N.Y. – State Police in
Livingston say they have arrested a man for operating a vehicle with an
unauthorized window sticker.
On Tuesday around 4:50 p.m. a State
Trooper observed a vehicle on State Route 9G being operated with an
unauthorized window sticker. Troopers say they stopped the vehicle, which was
being driven by Scott Semanick, 45, and found the window sticker was a
counterfeit New York State Inspection sticker.
State Police say an investigation
revealed that Semanick had placed a replication of a New York State Inspection
sticker in the window of the vehicle. He was charged with possession of a forged
instrument 2nd Degree, a felony.
Semanick was arraigned in the Town of Claverack
Court and released on his own recognizance.
