Rensselaer County holds first rabies clinic for pets

TROY, N.Y. — Rensselaer County
has begun a series of rabies clinics for its resident's pets starting Thursday.

Officials say vaccinations
are an excellent step in protecting animals from the disease.

The clinic is from 5 p.m.
until 7 p.m. at the Brunswick Community Center in Troy — with a dozen more to
follow.

At each clinic, the first hour is for cats
and ferrets, and the second hour is for dogs.
