Woman accused of burglary, using child to steal money through dog door

LIVINGSTON, N.Y. – State Police have arrested a Cairo woman
for burglarizing a Germantown home.

On Wednesday around 12:30 p.m., State Police arrested
Heather Breault, 33, on three counts of Burglary in the 2nd Degree,
Criminal Solicitation in the 3rd Degree, and two counts of
Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 

Breault is accused of entering an acquaintance's home in
Germantown with the intention of stealing from the victim.

Police allege that on two occasions, Breault used an
11-year-old to enter the home via a dog door, in order to steal money.

Breault has been arraigned in Town of Livingston Court and
was sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000
bail bond.
