Equinox volunteers prepare to deliver Thanksgiving dinners

ALBANY, N.Y. – More than 1,000 volunteers will line up at
the Empire State Plaza Thursday morning to deliver Thanksgiving dinners to people
in the Capital Region.

The 44th annual Equinox Thanksgiving Day Community Dinner is
expected to feed 10,000 Capital Region residents who are homeless or are in
difficult circumstances.

The sit-down dinner for 500 will be held at the First
Presbyterian Church on State and Willet Streets from 1 to 4 p.m.

The remaining 9,500 meals will be delivered from 9 a.m. to 1
p.m.
