State Police: Man arrested for killing a kitten and injuring another

COBLESKILL, N.Y. – A Carlisle man has been arrested for killing one kitten and causing serious injury to another.

State Police in Cobleskill arrested Bryant Jeffers, 24, for two counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals.

Jeffers is accused of killing a kitten sometime within the past two month, according to State Police.

On November 11, he was accused of throwing a 10 week old kitten to the floor causing the animal to sustain head injuries and nerve damage.

He was arrested and arraigned in the Town of Cobleskill court. He was released to appear at a later date.
