Man faces felony after allegedly choking a woman in her home

STILLWATER, N.Y. – A Schuylerville man has been charged with
a felony after choking a woman.

Stillwater Police say they arrested Joseph Bagley, 43, for
Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree, a felony, and Criminal
Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, a misdemeanor. 

Police say Bagley entered a woman's home around 2:30 a.m.
and choked her on a bed before leaving the residence.

Bagley had an active order of protection against him,
barring him from having contact with the female.

According to authorities, the man was arrested near a gym in
Clifton Park.

He was arraigned in Stillwater Town Court and sent to
Saratoga County Jail on $10,000 bail.
