GUILDERLAND, N.Y. – Guilderland Central School District residents have approved a multi-million dollar building project proposition.
On Thursday, the $17,324,650 building project proposition to upgrade aging infrastructure in the district's seven school buildings was approved. This project will also improve safety, security and technology systems district-wide.
The proposition passed 897-YES and 790-NO.
A second proposition was not approved to allow the renovation of the high school auditorium which would also replace wooden light tower poles on the high school football field/track. That cost would have been $846,300. It was voted down 857-NO and 829-YES.
