Local humane society and SPCA receives $70,000 grant

HUDSON, N.Y. – The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA has
received grant money for their shelter's New Building Fund.

The $70,000 grant was given to the CGHS/SPCA by The PARC
Foundation out of New York City.  It was
presented to the humane society in October to help construct the new building.

“The $70,000 grant from the PARC Foundation will be a great
boost toward our new shelter, and we deeply appreciate the support from the
Board of Directors of the PARC Foundation,” said Ron Perez, President of
CGHS/SPCA.
