SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Starting on Tuesday, the Mega Millions
will get a little bigger.

Players will see changes to the game such as larger and
faster growing jackpots, a million-dollar second price and better odds of
winning.

The price of a ticket will still be $1 as the minimum
jackpot will grow by at least $5 million after each drawing when a jackpot is
not won.

Under the new improvements, the chance of hitting the jackpot
will be 1 in 259 million.  The overall
chance of winning a prize will be 1 in 15. The new matrix of the game will increase
the number of white balls to 75 and the number of gold balls will decrease to
15.
