Albany Bishop to celebrate ordination anniversary with special mass

ALBANY, N.Y. — There
won't be an empty pew at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany
this Sunday as a special mass will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bishop
Howard Hubbard's ordination to the priesthood.

include government, business, and community leaders, and many of Bishop Hubbard's
relatives and friends.

Not only is the bishop
celebrating 50 years as a priest, but at the end of the month he will turn 75,
the mandatory age for submitting his resignation.

down with Bishop Hubbard to talk about his years at the diocese, as a priest,
and what he sees for the future of the Catholic Church. That report will air on
