Police: Man accused of stealing from residence after being fired by homewoner

ANCRAM, N.Y. – State Police say they arrested a man on
Wednesday after he trespassed on a former customers property.

Police say they received a trespass complaint from a woman
in Ancram.  As authorities investigated
they found the woman had fired a Catskill man who had been working on her

Since he was fired, the victim said the man returned to her
home and removed property.  The victim
told the man several times to leave the property but he did not comply.

State Police arrested Karl Hinkle, 56, and charged him with
Petit Larceny and Criminal Trespass, both misdemeanors.

Hinkle was issued an appearance ticket and will be back
in  town court on October 23rd
