Schenectady man accused of taking payment for a job he never started

SCHENECTADY,
N.Y. – One man has been arrested after he was accused of accepting payment for
a job he never even started.

State
Police say they arrested Greg Brisk, 37, for Grand Larceny in the 3rd
degree.

According
to authorities, Brisk agreed to replace a roof and accepted $4,900 as payment
but never started the job.

The
complainant allegedly tried to contact Brisk a number of times but says Brisk
refused to replace the roof or return the money.

Police
say Brisk was using the business name “BRISK GCR LLC.”

If
anyone else has a similar complaint they are encouraged to contact NY State
Police Investigators at 630-1712.
