ALBANY, N.Y. – A 19-year-old has pleaded guilty to First
Albany County District Attorney David Soares say Juan
Anderson pleaded guilty to the felony in county court on Thursday morning.
Anderson admitted to intentionally causing a serious
physical injury to a 15-year-old male by stabbing his with a sharp object
during a robbery on May 25, 2012.
Albany Police investigated the incident and found Anderson
attempted to steal a bicycle from the victim and caused injury to the victim
when the 15-year-old did not comply.
Anderson will be sentenced on November 4 and he faces 18
years in State Prison followed by 5 years of Post Release Supervision.
