Unarmed robbery at Troy convenience store

TROY, N.Y. – Police tell NEWS10 there was a robbery at a Cumberland Farms early Thursday morning.

They say it happened around 12:15 a.m. at the store on Campbell Avenue.

A suspect entered the store and acted as though they were going to purchase a can of soda.  The suspect then brought the soda up to the register.  When the clerk opened the drawer, the suspect grabbed money and left.

According to authorities, no weapons were displayed and the clerk was not injured.

No arrests have been made as the investigation is ongoing.
