Routine traffic stop led to arrest for burglary in Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Police say a 22-year old has been
arrested for a burglary that took place early Thursday morning.

According to authorities, Daniel Provost was pulled over
during a routine traffic stop around 4AM Thursday, when an officer noticed out
of place items in the vehicle.  Upon
further investigation, the officer determined the itms were stolen from Dango's
Bar and Restaurant located on Caroline Street.

The owners of Dango's were contacted by Saratoga Springs
police and found a burglary was committed in the establishment.

The missing items were recovered.

Provost was arrested for Burglary and Criminal Possession of
Stolen Property.  He is awaiting his
arraignment.
