Police: Two men accused of string of thefts after traffic stop

SCHODACK,
N.Y. – State Police have arrested two men in connection with a number of local
thefts.

Authorities
says 48-year old Raymond Hall and 28-year old Matthew Meizinger were pulled
over on Route 20 on Wednesday for a routine traffic stop.  Police then found the two men were in possession
of heroin and hypodermic needles.

Hall and
Meizinger were arrested and after an investigation, police believe the men are
responsible for a string of recent thefts.

Hall was
charged with three counts of burglary, criminal possession of a controlled
substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and petit larceny.

Meizinger has
been charged with one count of burglary, crimnal possession of a controlled
substance, and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument.

Both have
been arraigned and will be in court on Tuesday.
