Man arrested for stealing guard rail posts

HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. – A 24-year old has been arrested after police say he stole guard rail posts.

Hoosick Falls Police say Matthew Moses allegedly stole over 50 guard rail posts from a construction site in the village.

The site was being repaired after it was damaged from last year's storm.

Moses is accused of removing the posts and selling them to an Albany scrap yard.  They have been valued over $3,000.

Moses has been arrested and charged with Grand Larceny.  He was arraigned and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of bail.
