SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Saturday, August 3rd marks the official 150th anniversary of racing at the Saratoga Race Course.

Fans can look forward to a packed day of events starting with a commemorative poster, featuring caricatures of all the key Saratoga characters.

On Friday night the Floral Fete, a parade celebrating what this city was and still is, was held.

The main race of the day will be the Whitney Invitational Handicap, with the winners taking home a brand new Whitney trophy.

Quite a bit of planning has gone in to making it a memorable day, and what's a birthday without a cake? That will be provided by none other than the Cake Boss himself, Buddy Valastro, Jr.
