Gloversville police arrest teen for convenience store robbery

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. – Several tips from the public led Gloversville Police to an 18-year-old Gloversville man police say is responsible for stealing from the Country Farms convenience store.

Police say surveillance video shows Stephen Dingman breaking into the convenience store by smashing in the bottom of the door.

During the course of the investigation, detectives found Dingman was also responsible for a home burglary at the end of June, during which he entered a residence and stole a Wii Game console and games.

He is charged with Burglary 3rd-degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd-degree, and Petit Larceny.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests
are possible
