Skydiving fundraiser to benefit Make-A-Wish

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – In a unique fundraiser Saturday, more
than 30 participants will skydive for the third annual “Wish Jump 2013,” a
benefit to raise money for Make-A-Wish Northeast New York.

This year's participants include many first-time jumpers,
along with a WWII veteran paratrooper and chapter CEO William Trigg.

“It's definitely one of the most exciting fundraisers ever,” Trigg said.
“We would appreciate support for the jumpers, and for our cause—granting wishes
for local children with serious illnesses.”

Mary Kenney, the event organizer and a jumper herself, invited the
public to support the cause through donations, and by coming to the jump at
Saratoga Skydiving Adventures.

Kenney said they are hoping to raise $35,000 for the local Make-A-Wish chapter.
