Ballet to return to SPAC for one week

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Saratoga Performing
Arts Center and New York City Ballet announce the ballet will return to Saratoga Springs for one week during the 2014 season.

In making the
announcement, officials from both organizations say they are seeking
ways to preserve NYCB's historic annual engagement in Saratoga.

Regarded as one of
the world's foremost dance companies, New York City Ballet will kick off its
Saratoga engagement on Tuesday, July 9th. The company will present seven
performances over the course of the week which concludes with the Saturday,
July 13th fundraising Ballet Gala: The Ruby Ball.

The NYCB has spent more than 40 years performing at SPAC.
