The next time you check out the WTEN or FOX23 facebook pages or websites, there's a good chance Caitlin Williams had a hand in posting the story or information you find. As an online content producer, Caitlin is in charge of monitoring the stations' social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, etc. She also writes original content for NEWS CENTER websites. But her list of duties also include editing reporters' stories and monitoring/issuing constant news coverage on both station websites and social media platforms. To make their stories compelling, she also creates slideshows and graphics for websites and social media pages.

Caitlin has been with the NEWS CENTER for nearly a year. Previously, she worked for Raycom Media's 24-hour news hub located in Montgomery, Alabama. She received a degree in Mass Communication – Telecommunication – Broadcast Media from the University of South Florida.

Caitlin is a journalist who's found her niche in the ever-growing social media platforms. The way people seek news and information is constantly evolving and Caitlin is on the front lines of making sure the NEWS CENTER meets your needs when it comes to internet services.

What does Caitlin love most about her job, “That I get paid to do what makes me happy! I love to write and I love the web, in this job I get to combine both.”

When she's not hovering over the computer at work, Caitlin loves to go on “photo adventures.” She grabs her camera and explores new places. She also enjoys taking her dogs to the park, reading, and spending far too much money on music downloads!
